IMUS CITY, Cavite – Police are searching for four men who used a black Toyota Innova to rob a convenience store in Barangay Carsadang Bago 2 early Thursday morning.
Authorities are coordinating with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to identify the registered owner of the getaway vehicle, a Toyota Innova with license plate NEB 9901.
According to police, the suspects arrived at the store around 4:20 a.m., parked the car outside, and three of them entered the store posing as customers. Moments later, one of the suspects pulled out a gun, pointed it at the store crew, identified only as “John Christopher,” and declared a holdup.
The suspects took approximately P8,000 in cash, a company phone, vault keys, a Tecno Pova cellphone, and a bag containing personal belongings before fleeing the scene in the same vehicle.
Police are now reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas to trace the suspects’ escape route and identify them.
