The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) First Division has dismissed the disqualification case filed by Mayor Ted Carranza against former Silang Mayor Kevin Anarna, according to an order released on Feb. 26, 2025.

With this ruling, the petition against Anarna has been officially dismissed.

In a statement, Anarna expressed gratitude for the COMELEC’s fair decision, saying it reaffirms his compliance with the law and proves the allegations against him were baseless.

“From the beginning, we knew this petition had no merit. The COMELEC’s decision is a victory for truth and justice,” Anarna said.

As of press time, Carranza’s camp has yet to issue an official statement regarding the ruling.
