Cavite Police Provincial Office Welcomes New Acting Provincial Director

The Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) held a ceremonial turnover of command on Monday, with Police Brigadier General Paul Kenneth T. Lucas, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 4A (PRO 4A), presiding over the event.

The ceremony, held at the Covered Court of Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia in Imus, Cavite, was attended by Provincial Governor Athena Bryana D Tolentino as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

During the ceremony, Police Brigadier General Lucas presented an award to outgoing Provincial Director Police Colonel Eleuterio M. Ricardo Jr in recognition of his contributions to the province’s peace and order initiatives.

In his final message, Police Colonel Ricardo Jr expressed his gratitude to the Cavite police force for their support, dedication, and hard work. He formally relinquished his duties and responsibilities as Provincial Director.

Police Colonel Dwight E Alegre took over as the new Acting Provincial Director, pledging his commitment to deliver efficient and effective service to the people of Cavite.

“We will work together to achieve our common goal of a safer and more prosperous Cavite,” he said.

The symbolic turnover of office, property, and equipment was officiated by Police Brigadier General Lucas.

Governor Tolentino delivered an inspirational message, commending Police Colonel Ricardo’s leadership and welcoming Police Colonel Alegre with full support.

The ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter for the Cavite PPO under the leadership of Police Colonel Alegre.
