A Filipino photographer from Cavite has made it to the finals of an international photo contest organized by the International Federation of Transport Workers (ITF).

Capt. Emerson Reyes, a native of Naic, Cavite, is one of the 35 winners selected from thousands of entries worldwide, representing the Philippines in the maritime sector.

Reyes’ photo is competing in the People’s Vote category of the ITF Photography Prize 2024, and the public can vote for his entry online. The link to the voting page is available on the ITF website.

The winner of the contest will be announced on October 17, 2024 in Marrakesh, Morocco, during the 1st Global Transport Congress.

Reyes’ supporters are urging the public to vote for his entry, saying it would take only a few minutes to show support for the Filipino photographer.

The ITF Photography Prize 2024 aims to showcase the best photos from the transport sector around the world.
