Kawit Issues Traffic Advisory for Education Department Parade

The Department of Education – Kawit District will hold a parade on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, prompting local officials to issue a road advisory for motorists.

The “District Brigada Lakad Sayaw ng Pagkakaisa” parade will begin at 5:00 a.m. from Josephine’s Resort in Barangay Panamitan and end at Freedom Park in Barangay Kaingen.

Officials expect heavy traffic along portions of Magdiwang and Tirona Highway during the event.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and use alternative roads where possible.

The advisory, issued by Kawit LGU, aims to minimize traffic congestion during the parade, which is part of the Department of Education’s activities in the area.

Kawit authorities have not specified when normal traffic flow is expected to resume.
