GENERAL TRIAS, Cavite — The city of General Trias has received a boost in its peace and order efforts with the turnover of new police patrol vehicles, a SWAT vehicle, and equipment from the city government.
The turnover ceremony, held recently, was attended by top officials including Secretary Benhur Abalos of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla.
The city received six new police patrol vehicles, one SWAT vehicle, and two BJMP transport vehicles, as well as new SWAT equipment.
The donation is part of the city’s peace and order programs aimed at maintaining a safe and orderly community.
Also in attendance were Mayor Luis Jon-Jon Ferrer, Congressman Ony Ferrer, Vice-Mayor Jonas Labuguen, and other local officials. The event was also attended by representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The city government has emphasized its commitment to maintaining peace and order in General Trias, and the new vehicles and equipment are expected to enhance the city’s law enforcement capabilities.
