FIRE OUT: Blaze at SM Bacoor in Cavite Extinguished

BACOOR, Cavite — A fire that broke out at a restaurant in SM Bacoor mall in Cavite was extinguished by 11:15 a.m. today, officials said.

The blaze started at around 10:30 a.m. at a Mang Inasal restaurant and quickly spread to other parts of the mall, prompting a swift response from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and other emergency services.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the fire, and damage to the mall was minimal.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but officials are working to resume normal operations at the mall as soon as possible.

“We’re grateful that the situation was brought under control without harm to anyone,” said a spokesperson for the Rotary Community Corps of the Rotary Club of Luntiang Maynila Prime, which reported on the incident.

The BFP and other authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
