INDANG, Cavite — A new dialysis center, funded by a local barangay captain, opened Thursday in Indang, Cavite, aiming to serve Cavite residents in need of kidney treatment.

The North East Dialysis Center, located in Barangay Calumpang Cerca, was inaugurated on July 19, 2024. Barangay Captain Virgilio Fidel spearheaded the project.

The facility can accommodate up to 30 patients and is expected to be fully operational next month.

Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla, Tanza Vice Mayor SM Matro, Board Member Abeng Remulla, and Indang Mayor Perfecto Fidel attended the inauguration, along with other local officials.

The center aims to improve access to dialysis treatment for Indang residents, addressing a growing need for kidney care in the province.
