CAVITE CITY, Cavite — Sen. Ramon Bong Revilla Jr. distributed PhP20,000 pesos in financial aid to each family affected by recent fires in Barangays 5 and 7 of Cavite City on Sunday.

The assistance, provided by the national government, supplements food packs and relief goods delivered in previous days.

House Speaker Martin Romualdez, the Department of Social Welfare and Development, and Mayor Denver Chua’s Team Unlad collaborated on the aid effort.

Revilla pledged continued support from his office and the Agimat Partylist to help residents rebuild their lives.

Hundreds lined up in Cavite City to receive cash assistance to rebuild their lives after one of the biggest fire incidents in Cavite history.

“We are here to assist you in your efforts to start anew,” Revilla said. “You will not face this challenge alone, our beloved Caviteños.”

The senator did not specify the number of families who received aid or the total amount distributed.
