Pres. BBM Orders 30-Day Toll Suspension on Cavitex

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has directed the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) to suspend toll fees on the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) for 30 days.

“The Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA), as the operator of Cavitex, proposed to suspend toll collection for all types of vehicles passing through the Manila-Cavite expressway in Taguig, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Bacoor, and Kawit for 30 days. This initiative aims to introduce our new roads and expressways to those who need this transport system,” Marcos said in his speech.

The President recently led three ceremonies: the groundbreaking of the Cavitex-Calax Link and Cavitex C5 Link Segment 3B, and the inauguration of the Cavitex C5 Link Sucat Interchange (Segment 2).
