Promoting Filipino Culinary Culture: Cong. Bryan Revilla Leads Discussion at Lyceum of the Philippines University – Cavite

Posted by

In a spirited gathering at the Lyceum of the Philippines University – Cavite, Congressman Bryan Revilla championed the cause of Filipino culinary culture.

The event brought together key figures, including Dr. Maria Teresa O. Pilapil (VP for Administration), Dr. Mark Irvin C. Celis (VP for Academic Affairs), and Mr. Ivan L. Bartolata (CITHM OIC Dean). Their focus? Igniting further enthusiasm for Caviteño cuisine and exploring ways to combat hunger.

Following this, the CITHM students participated in the Le Art Culinary Competition. Under the theme “Rekindling the Burning Fire: Philippine Cuisine and Culture 2024,” the panel of judges included not only Cong. Bryan but also esteemed chefs Jorge Bautista, Nico Ramaneses, and Richard Guloy.

The participants showcased not only their culinary prowess but also the artistry behind their meticulously prepared dishes.
