In a late-night operation on May 26, 2024, the Kawit Municipal Police Station apprehended a drug suspect known as “Speed.”
The suspect, a resident of Bacoor City, Cavite, was caught selling a small heat-sealed sachet containing suspected “Shabu” in Brgy. Balsahan-Bisita, Kawit.
The arrest was made during an anti-illegal drug (buy-bust) operation conducted by the Drugs Enforcement Unit and Intel Operatives, in coordination with the PDEA-4A.
The suspect was informed of their constitutional rights and taken to the Kawit Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
The successful operation underscores the station’s commitment to combat criminality and serves as a warning to the public against involvement in illegal drugs, Kawit Municipal Police Station said.
