De La Salle University-Dasmariñas Offers Scholarships to Tri-Bureau Members in CALABARZON for Graduate Studies

In a significant move towards fostering better governance, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSUD) has announced a scholarship program for members of the Tri-Bureau in the CALABARZON region.

The initiative, facilitated through the College of Criminal Justice Education, aims to strengthen ties between the university and local government agencies.

The signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was led by Br. Francisco de la Rosa VI FSC, President of DLSUD, Dr. Cristina Salibay, Vice Chancellor of Academics and Research (VCAR), Dr. Rodel Esmilla, Dean of the College of Criminal Justice Education, and Ariel O. Iglesia, CESO III, Regional Director of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region IV-A. Representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Region IV-A, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Region IV-A, and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Region IV-A were also present during the signing.

The scholarship program aims to provide educational opportunities for Tri-Bureau members, allowing them to pursue graduate studies.

Additionally, Regional Line Agencies (RLAs) will open their doors to Tri-Bureau members through internship programs and other activities that benefit students of the College of Criminal Justice Education.

Dr. Salibay emphasized that this initiative aligns with the DILG IV-A’s mission to ensure peace, order, safety, and security throughout the region.

By investing in education and collaboration, DLSUD and the Tri-Bureau agencies contribute to building a stronger and more effective governance framework in CALABARZON.
