In a significant development for Cavite’s infrastructure, the Zapote Interchange in Bacoor is set to be connected to the Kawit Toll Plaza with the completion of the Calax-Cavitex Link 4.

This project is a game-changer for the region, promising to enhance the traffic flow and connectivity between Kawit and Bacoor.

The construction giant EEI Corporation has secured the contract for this ambitious project, valued at a whopping PHP1.79 billion.

The new segment, spanning 7.4 kilometers and featuring a 2×2 lane expressway, is not just an infrastructural feat but also a testament to the region’s growth and development.

Once operational, the Cavitex-Calax Link 4 will serve as a vital artery, significantly reducing travel time and congestion. It’s a leap forward in realizing the vision of seamless travel in the province, fostering economic growth and improving the quality of life for its residents.

The project is part of the larger Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway Project (MCTEP), which aims to provide safe and convenient mobility to travelers.

With the completion of this link, the expressway will connect Cavitex, or the Manila-Cavite Expressway, and Calax, or the Cavite-Laguna Expressway, passing through the municipality of Kawit.

The EEI Corporation, with a rich history dating back to 1931, is at the forefront of constructing power-generating facilities, oil refineries, chemical production plants, and now, one of the most anticipated expressways in the region. The company’s expertise in building critical infrastructure is set to propel Cavite into a new era of connectivity.

As the construction progresses, the people of Cavite eagerly anticipate the completion of this link, which symbolizes progress and the promise of a brighter, more connected future.
