Power Outages Scheduled in Cavite and Laguna for Meralco Maintenance from May 22-24

Several areas in the provinces of Cavite and neighboring Laguna are set to experience power interruptions from May 22 to 24 due to scheduled maintenance by the Manila Electric Company (Meralco), the utility firm announced on its website.

On May 22, installation work will be conducted along Rio De Oro Avenue in Barangay Buenavista I, Gen. Trias City, Cavite. The affected areas between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. will include:

  • A portion of Rio De Oro Avenue from Gov. Ferrer Drive up to and including Rio De Oro Subdivision, Centro De Oro Subdivision, and Paseo Heneral Dos Subdivision in Barangays Buenavista I and Pasong Kawayan 2.

Additionally, line reconstruction will take place on Malagasang Road in Imus City, Cavite on May 22 and 23. The disruptions are expected from 11 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, to 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, impacting:

  • A portion of Malagasang Road from near Abbey de Saint Augustine School to near Alfamart – Malagasang II-B, including Dexterville Homes Subdivision, Savanna Ville Subdivision, Mallari Subdivision, Manela Subdivision, Reyes Subdivision, and Silver Towne III Subdivision in Barangays Malagasang I-C, I-D, I-E, I-F, II-A, and II-B.

Furthermore, facility relocation will occur on Tagaytay – Cabuyao Road in Barangay Dapdap East, Tagaytay City, Cavite on May 24. The following areas will be affected from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

  • A section of Tagaytay – Cabuyao Road from Barangay Dapdap East in Tagaytay City, Cavite to and including Barangay Casile in Cabuyao City, Laguna, encompassing Kasile Hills Natures & Resorts and Woodside Farm & Water Park in Barangay Casile, Cabuyao City, Laguna.
