In a significant stride towards combating drug-related issues, the Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing Program held a meeting on April 30, 2024.

The gathering took place at the Bayleaf Hotel in General Trias, Cavite, under the leadership of Atty Ronilo Faustino, the Legal Officer of PDEA RO IV-A, along with other committee members.

The meeting bore fruitful results with 24 drug-impacted barangays earning the status of Drug-Cleared Barangays. In addition, 30 barangays were granted a resolution for the Retention of Drug-Cleared Status.

The committee also verified 40 barangays as Drug-Free, while 14 were issued with a Certificate of Drug Personality. This marks a significant milestone in the ongoing battle against drug-related issues in the region.
