In a significant boost to local healthcare, the provincial government, led by the Office of the Provincial Governor, joined forces with medical and dental practitioners from the Office of the Provincial Health Officer (OPHO) to deliver a round of free health services in Brgy. Javalera, Gen. Trias City, on April 25, 2024.

The initiative, which saw the active participation of local officials and staff under the leadership of Punong Barangay Teddy Romero, along with barangay health workers, brought essential healthcare services directly to the residents of Brgy. Javalera.

Despite the challenging heat, the mission was met with an enthusiastic response from the community. A total of 309 constituents availed themselves of the services on offer.

The mission saw 259 individuals receiving medical consultations for a variety of health concerns, while 50 underwent dental extractions, significantly improving their oral health. The community also benefited from free eye check-ups, prescription medicines, and mosquito repellent lotion.

The success of the event underscores the commitment and dedication of all parties involved in addressing the community’s basic health needs. This collaborative effort has made vital healthcare services accessible, contributing significantly to the overall well-being of the residents of Brgy. Javalera.
