Buy-bust in Dasmariñas Nets Brgy Burol Pusher

In a bid to ensure a secure and safe environment, the Dasmariñas City Police Station has ramped up its operations. The Intelligence Section, led by PCPT Gil M. Gamad, conducted a successful buy-bust operation at Barangay Burol 3, Dasmariñas City, at approximately 10:45 PM on April 30, 2024.

The operation, backed by PDEA Information Report File Number 04-30-2024-89, led to the arrest of a suspect known as ‘Alias Sonny’.

The 38-year-old construction worker and college undergraduate, who resides in Barangay Burol 3, Dasmariñas City, Cavite, was found in possession of two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu.

Two one-hundred-peso bills (Php100.00) with serial numbers KA232089 and BR953276 were used as buy-bust money. Alternative recording devices were employed throughout the operation to ensure transparency and accountability.

Following his arrest, the accused was informed of his constitutional rights and taken to Dasmariñas CPS for proper documentation and disposition. He is currently detained at the Dasmariñas City Custodial Facility.

The operation was overseen by PLTCOL Julius Baybado Balano, OIC of Dasmariñas CPS. PLT Maribel Sorilla, PIO PCO, served as the action officer.
