Businessman in Dasmariñas Robbed and Killed In His Own Home

A businessman in Dasmariñas, Cavite suffered a tragic fate after being robbed and killed inside his own home early yesterday morning.

The victim was identified as Wilson Tibayan.

According to the Dasmariñas City Police, the victim was driving home to his house in a subdivision in Brgy. Burol Main.

Three suspects on a motorcycle followed his pickup truck. The victim was about to park when he was suddenly pointed at with a gun and got into the pickup. They entered the gate and raided the house.

The suspects tied up Tibayan and his family. The man was stabbed more than 50 times.

The culprits took away P1.8-M cash, jewelry, and cellphones from the house before escaping in the victim’s pickup truck. The man’s wife asked for help but he was already lifeless.

The police are still conducting follow-up investigations about the crime.
