Carmona Recognized for Lowest Air Pollution in Southeast Asia

Carmona City, Cavite is among the three cities in the Philippines with the lowest air pollution in Southeast Asia, according to the 2023 World Air Quality Report by the Swiss air-monitoring company IQAir.

The city’s air quality was recorded at 8.9 μg/m³ in 2023.

Also included in the list are Calamba City, Laguna (6th Place), and Balanga City, Bataan (11th Place).

Meanwhile, Mamuji City, Indonesia topped as the least polluted regional city in all of Southeast Asia, where the recorded air quality was at 3.7 8.9 μg/m³.
