Bacoor City, Cavite – The provincial government of Cavite, spearheaded by Governor Jonvic Remulla, launched a successful medical and dental mission in Talaba II, Bacoor City on April 16, 2024. This initiative brought much-needed healthcare services to 417 residents, marking a significant stride in local healthcare provision.

The mission saw 365 individuals receiving medical services, while 52 benefited from dental care. In a bid to ensure comprehensive healthcare coverage, 15 people underwent X-ray examinations, and 10 received ECG tests.

The success of this mission underscores the power of collaboration, with various institutions including the local government, PGC health professionals, and the Scouts Royale Brotherhood, under the leadership of Cavite Provincial Council President Alan Correl, playing pivotal roles. The Sangguniang Kabataan, BHWs, and BNS also contributed significantly to the mission’s success.

Beyond the provision of medicine and anti-mosquito repellent lotion, the mission further extended its reach by offering free eye checks, amplifying its impact and significance to the Bacoor community. This initiative not only brought hope and healing but also underscored the government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility in the region.
