In a remarkable display of community healthcare, the Cavite Provincial Government’s health outreach program, conducted on March 8, 2024, at the Golden Horizon Subdivision covered court in Barangay Hugo Perez, Trece Martires City, successfully served 560 individuals with essential medical services and supplies.
The event was spearheaded by the Provincial Governor’s medical mission team, in partnership with the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital and Kara Medical Diagnostic Clinic Corp.
The program offered a wide array of healthcare services, including medical consultations, dental extractions, ECG, X-rays, and free eye check-ups, ensuring comprehensive care for the beneficiaries.
As part of a broader anti-mosquito campaign, participants also received maintenance medicines, multivitamins, and mosquito repellent lotion.
The program’s success was largely due to the dedication and expertise of the medical and dental professionals, backed by a devoted medical staff team.
The health outreach saw 485 individuals receiving medical check-ups, 50 dental extractions, 9 X-rays, and 16 ECG tests, catering to various health needs within the community.
The initiative garnered strong support from local government officials, including 7th District Congressman Ping Remulla, Mayor Gemma Lubigan, city councilors, and SK Federation President John Allyson Sepacio, who attended the event to show unity with the residents.
Barangay Chairperson Raymundo Villa, alongside barangay officials and health workers, played a crucial role in the seamless coordination of the program, contributing to its overwhelming success.
