Four youths were arrested by local police operatives inside a vape shop that was allegedly used as a front for illegal activities in Barangay Bucandala 2, Imus City, Cavite, past nine o’clock last night.

The suspects were caught in a buy bust operation by the police after a police poseur buyer bought dried marijuana leaves from the main suspect identified as Paulo, a cashier/staff at the vape shop.

Also arrested were Sam, Harry, and Gelo, from whom the police recovered about 80 grams of dried marijuana leaves packed in 16 sachets and worth almost ten thousand pesos.

The police also recovered the 300 pesos marked money that the operative paid as a poseur buyer. The suspects did not deny that they used a “dead drop” method to get their drug supply online.

They said they paid through electronic cash, and then they would receive a photo of the location where the source would leave the drugs, and they would pick them up afterwards.

The suspects said they only sold drugs to people from their area, and some were for their personal use. They also admitted that they had just used drugs before they were arrested.

They are set to face charges for violating sections 5 and 11 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
