Cavite police seize P238K worth of shabu, arrest two suspects

DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite – Two drug suspects were arrested and 35 grams of shabu worth Php238,000 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Saint Peter II over the weekend, the Cavite police said.

The suspects, known as Rene and Jal, were residents of Barangay H-2 in the same city. They were caught selling shabu to an undercover police officer, who posed as a buyer. Four sachets of shabu and the marked money were recovered from them.

The suspects were taken to the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of the Cavite Police Provincial Office for proper disposition and filing of charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The seized drugs were brought to the Cavite Provincial Forensic Unit for examination.
