Most Wanted Person in Indang, Cavite Arrested for Rape in Batangas

A man wanted for rape in relation to Republic Act 7610, also known as the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, was arrested by the police in Tanauan City, Batangas on Saturday, February 17, 2024.

The suspect, who goes by the alias “Danilo”, was nabbed in Barangay Santor by the joint operation of the warrant personnel of Indang Municipal Police Station and Tanauan City Police Station, according to a press release from the Cavite Police Provincial Office.

PMAJ EDWARD B CANTANO, the chief of police of Indang Municipal Police Station, said that “Danilo” was the most wanted person in the regional level and had a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 15, Naic, Cavite with no bail recommended.

The suspect is now under the custody of Indang Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office said that they remain committed to hunting down people with an existing warrant of arrest to make sure that they will face the charges filed against them in court.
