Cavite Police Arrests Provincial Top 8 Most Wanted Drug Suspect

Cavite Police Provincial Office announced on Feb. 3, 2024 the successful arrest of a drug suspect who ranked eighth in the provincial most wanted list. The suspect, known as alias “Niel,” was apprehended in Barangay Burol 2, City of Dasmarinas, Cavite, by the operatives of Dasmariñas Component City Police Station.

According to PLtCol Julius B. Balano, the Officer-in-Charge of Dasmariñas CCPS, alias “Niel” was a resident of Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Dasmariñas City, Cavite, and was facing charges for Violation of Section 11, Article II of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. He was arrested based on a Warrant of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 90, Dasmariñas City, Cavite, with a bail of Php 200,000.00.

Alias “Niel” is currently detained at Dasmariñas Component City Police Station for further processing and legal action. Cavite Police Provincial Office vowed to continue its efforts to track down and arrest other fugitives who have pending cases in court.
