The Cavite Police Provincial Office (CPPO) announced on January 23, 2024 the successful capture of a murder suspect in Brgy Pamplona 3, Las Pinas City.
The suspect, known as alias “Alexis”, was a resident of Brgy Molino 6, Bacoor, Cavite and one of the most wanted persons in the region.
The arrest was made possible by the intelligence-driven operation of the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) of the CPPO, led by PLtCol Jerry Corpuz.
PIU tracked down and apprehended alias “Alexis” based on a Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder, issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 19, Fourth Judicial Region, Bacoor, Cavite. The suspect was not granted any bail option.
Alias “Alexis” was brought to the Bacoor Component City Police Station for further processing and documentation.
CPPO reaffirmed its dedication to pursuing and arresting people with outstanding warrants and ensuring that they will be held accountable in court.
