Imus City Inaugurates Largest Health Center in Cavite

Imus City Mayor Alex Advincula led the blessing and inauguration of the Imus Super Health Center, located at Legian II, Brgy. Carsadang Bago I, on Monday.

The event was attended by Dr. Teodoro Herbosa, Secretary of the Department of Health (DOH), Dr. Ariel Valencia, OIC-Assistant Secretary of the Department of Health (DOH), Dr. Ferdinand Mina, City Health Officer, Dra. Cherrie Boque, OIC of Imus Super Health Center, Vice Mayor Homer Saquilayan, and the Sangguniang Panlungsod Members.

The Imus Super Health Center is the largest in the province of Cavite, with a total floor area of 3,000 square meters and a capacity of 100 beds. It offers various medical services such as laboratory, pharmacy, dental, radiology, ultrasound, ECG, and emergency care. It also has a wellness center, a breastfeeding station, a conference room, and a chapel.

Mayor Advincula said that the Imus Super Health Center is a testament of his administration’s commitment to provide quality and accessible health care to the Imuseรฑos. He added that the health center will help address the medical needs of the city, especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Imus Super Health Center is part of the city’s health program, which also includes the construction of barangay health stations, the distribution of free medicines, the provision of health insurance, and the implementation of health protocols.

Mayor Advincula thanked the DOH and the other partners for their support and cooperation in making the Imus Super Health Center a reality. He also expressed his gratitude to the health workers and frontliners for their dedication and service to the people.

The Imus Super Health Center is open from Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
