Free Medical Mission Benefits 594 Residents of Barangay Paliparan III, Dasmariñas

The residents of Barangay Paliparan III, City of Dasmariñas, Cavite received a timely gift of health and wellness from the provincial government of Cavite on December 27, 2023. The Office of the Provincial Governor-Medical Mission Team, in partnership with the Office of the Provincial Health Officer, conducted a free medical mission that catered to the health needs of 594 patients.

The medical mission offered free check-ups, consultations, and essential medicines to the residents, who expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the service. The health outreach also addressed the primary health concerns of the community, such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory infections, skin diseases, and malnutrition.

The medical mission was part of the provincial government’s commitment to provide quality and accessible health care to the people of Cavite, especially those who are in need and underserved. The provincial government also aims to promote health awareness and prevention among the residents, as well as to strengthen the partnership between the local government units and the health sector.

The medical mission was led by Mr. Rodel Vincent T. Bae, OIC-Provincial Administrator and Mr. Gerry Olaes, OPG- Executive Assistant V, who represented Governor Juanito Victor C. Remulla Jr. They were joined by Dr. Nelson R. Soriano, Provincial Health Officer II, and other doctors and volunteers from the provincial health office. They also coordinated with the barangay officials and health workers of Barangay Paliparan III, who facilitated the registration and screening of the patients.

The provincial government of Cavite plans to conduct more medical missions in other barangays in the province, as part of its vision to make Cavite a healthy and prosperous province.
