Cavite Career Caravan Connects 511 Job Seekers with Employment Opportunities

CAVITE: — A recent job fair in Tanza, Cavite, drew a large crowd of job seekers, with 511 attendees and 84 securing employment on the spot.

The Cavite Career Caravan, held on August 27, 2024, at SM City Tanza, brought together 50 companies offering a range of job opportunities.

The event was led by the Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM), under the leadership of Ms. Rizalie P. Enero, in partnership with the management of SM City Tanza and PESO Tanza.

In addition to the corporate participants, representatives from various national government agencies, including the Social Security System (SSS), Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF), Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (OWWA), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), were also present to provide information on government programs and services related to social welfare and employment.

The Cavite Provincial Government lauded the participating companies and government organizations for their support and collaboration, which were instrumental in the event’s success. The Cavite Career Caravan highlighted the importance of partnership in driving economic growth and regional prosperity.
