After nearly a decade of dominance, the sole 7/11 branch in the town of Ternate, Cavite is set to close its doors.

April 30 marks the last day of operation for the convenience store, which was established in 2014 and holds the distinction of being the first convenience store in all of Ternate.

It has served as an inspiration for other Convenience and Grocery Retail Stores to set up shop in Ternate, such as Alfa Mart, Pure Mart, and Dali.

The 7/11 Ternate branch has been a favorite hangout spot for many and a common meeting place.

The convenience store has also paved the way for some of fellow citizens to find employment.
