CVSU POSTS NEAR-PERFECT PASSING RATE IN CRIMINOLOGY LICENSURE EXAM
CAVITE — Cavite State University – Main Campus posted a near-perfect passing rate in the February 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination, topping its category among schools with 101 to 199 examinees.
Data released by the (PRC) showed the university recorded a 99.25% overall passing rate after 132 of its first-time examinees passed the test.
The result placed CvSU at the top of the category for schools with at least 101 examinees and a minimum passing rate of 80%.
The licensure examinations were held from Feb. 4 to 6, with tens of thousands of criminology graduates nationwide taking the test to qualify as licensed criminologists.
The PRC said the national passing rate for the exam was 66.11%. Of the 45,866 examinees, 30,320 passed.
University officials congratulated the newly licensed criminologists and the faculty members who helped prepare them for the examination.
Officials said the results reflect the dedication and hard work of both students and teachers.
The CvSU community continues to celebrate the school’s strong performance in the board examination.
