A series of oversized Valentine’s Day billboards bearing the message “I Love You, Happy Valentine’s Day” have drawn attention on social media, with residents questioning whether they signal an upcoming political campaign.
Social media users reported spotting the displays in at least three locations — Kawit, Naic and a third site identified only as Zeus — prompting speculation about the identity of the person referred to as “Ate,” a Filipino term of address for an older woman.
The billboards’ wide distribution has fueled online discussion about whether the individual behind them plans to seek higher office, such as a congressional or provincial seat, ahead of the 2026 elections.
No official statement has been issued by representatives of the unnamed personality regarding the purpose of the displays.
