Jollibee to Open Branch in Maragondon, Cavite
MARAGONDON, Cavite — A Jollibee branch will be constructed in this municipality, Mayor Lawrence “Umbe” Arca confirmed.
The fast-food chain will be built in Barangay Garita A along the highway, on the site of the current Petron gasoline station, which will be demolished to make way for the development.
The new branch is expected to provide easier access to the popular Filipino fast-food restaurant for Cavite residents and create jobs for Maragondon locals. Officials anticipate the outlet will boost the local economy.
Jollibee Foods Corp. is the Philippines’ largest fast-food chain, known for its fried chicken, spaghetti and burgers.
The company operates more than 1,600 stores worldwide, with the majority in the Philippines.
Maragondon is a third-class municipality in Cavite province, located about 30 kilometers southwest of Manila. The town has a population of approximately 46,000 people, according to the 2020 census.
