MARAGONDON, Cavite — Two people were injured in a vehicle accident near Kay Biang Tunnel on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
The accident occurred around 4 p.m. in this Cavite town.
The victims were identified as a driver and a site coordinator who were in the vehicle when the crash happened, according to preliminary reports.
Authorities and rescue teams responded to the scene.
Both injured individuals were transported to the nearest hospital for treatment.
Officials have not released information about their conditions.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
