NOVELETA, Cavite — An SUV partially sank Monday after a steel plate (also infamous in Bacoor City roads) used as a temporary cover over a road cavity gave way in Noveleta, Cavite.
The incident highlights the serious dangers of using temporary solutions on damaged roads, particularly on routes with heavy vehicles and high traffic volume.
The shifting steel plate endangered the driver and other motorists in the area.
LGU authorities have not yet released information about injuries or the extent of damage to the vehicle.
