TANZA, Cavite – Police arrested two men in an anti-illegal drug operation in Barangay Halayhay, Tanza, Cavite.
Authorities from the Tanza Municipal Police Station Drug Enforcement Team, together with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, arrested the suspects identified as alias “Roddy,” 39, and alias “Jacky,” 33. Both are residents of the barangay.
Police said the arrests were made for alleged violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Operatives confiscated three heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 1.38 grams.
The illegal drugs have an estimated street value of P9,384 pesos. Two marked 100-peso bills used in the operation were also recovered.
The suspects and evidence were taken to the Tanza police station for documentation and the filing of charges.
