ATENEO DE MANILA UNIVERSITY TO OPEN NEW CAMPUS IN CAVITE
Ateneo de Manila University will establish a new 15-hectare campus at the Riverpark township, General Trias City, with completion targeted for 2030.
The Cavite campus, located within the Riverpark South development, is designed to bring the university’s academic programs closer to families in Cavite and neighboring provinces south of Metro Manila.
University officials said the campus aims to deliver holistic, world-class education and enrich Calabarzon’s social and cultural landscape.
The addition of Ateneo means Cavite will eventually host the country’s so-called “Big Three” universities.
The University of the Philippines and De La Salle University also have campuses planned or operating in the province.
The campus will rise in Riverpark, a mixed-use township described by developers as a modern, sustainable community.
Major developments there already include SM City General Trias, a Uniqlo logistics facility and residential offerings.
The area is served by two interchanges of the Cavite–Laguna Expressway (CALAX).
University and development officials said the new campus reinforces Riverpark’s role as a hub for innovation and inclusive growth in Southern Luzon.
