DASMARIÑAS, Cavite — Authorities are searching for a barangay chairman who allegedly shot and killed a neighbor following a dispute over a videoke session Friday night in Barangay San Jose.
According to a report by GMA News’ “24 Oras,” the official was drinking and singing karaoke when the victim approached and confronted him about the noise.
The encounter escalated into a heated argument.
Police said the confrontation intensified when the victim began recording the exchange on video.
The situation culminated in the shooting.
The suspect, who serves as chairman of the barangay, remains at large.
