BACOOR CITY, Cavite — The Bacoor City government has signed an agreement with Neo-Connect ICT Solutions Inc. to implement a contactless system across its public programs and services.
Under the partnership, the city will roll out the “Strike Card” or “SBR Card,” a digital identification and benefits card designed to provide residents with a faster and more secure way to access government assistance — at no cost to the city.
Mayor Strike Revilla said the program supports Bacoor’s vision of becoming a “smart” and future-ready city by promoting digital transformation and efficient service delivery.
Contactless systems, which use digital cards or mobile platforms to manage transactions without physical contact, have been increasingly adopted by local governments to enhance transparency, security, and convenience, especially in post-pandemic public service operations.
