The Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) pavement repair program has entered its third and fourth phases, with lane closures expected to continue until Sept. 27, 2025, the tollway operator announced.
The outermost northbound lane before the Zapote Interchange has been closed to traffic to allow maintenance work.
To ease congestion, a counterflow lane will be activated during rush hours from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. along the southbound innermost lane before the interchange.
CAVITEX said traffic marshals and safety officers will be deployed to manage vehicle flow and ensure motorist safety throughout the repair period.
Motorists are advised to plan their trips accordingly and expect possible delays.
The operator thanked the public for their patience and urged drivers to observe road safety while passing through the affected area.
