Metro Pacific Tollways South (MPT South), a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), has clinched the Award of Merit at the 21st Philippine Quill Awards for its innovative ‘Biyaheng South’ Cavite Tourism Passport, a project celebrating the province’s rich cultural and culinary attractions.

The prestigious Philippine Quill Awards, hosted by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines, recognizes excellence in business communication.

The awards honor campaigns and publications that demonstrate strategic brilliance, creative execution, and meaningful impact on organizations and communities.

The ‘Biyaheng South’ Cavite Tourism Passport earned its accolade in the Communication Skills Division, Publications Category. The initiative promotes Cavite’s vibrant destinations, spotlighting everything from local eateries to historic landmarks, encouraging exploration of the province’s unique offerings.

Relaunched on August 1, 2025, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Cavite, the enhanced passport engages tourists and locals alike, fostering appreciation for Cavite’s heritage while driving economic growth for local businesses. It aligns with MPT South’s commitment to sustainable tourism and regional development.

“We are deeply honored by this recognition,” said Arlette V. Capistrano, MPT South’s Vice President of Communication and Stakeholder Management. “The ‘Biyaheng South’ Cavite Tourism Passport reflects our dedication to celebrating local culture, supporting communities, and enhancing the journey for travelers on our expressway.”
