KAWIT, Cavite — A suspected drug dealer was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by Kawit police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Tuesday night in Barangay Toclong.
Authorities identified the suspect only as alias “Joe,” a resident of Imus, Cavite. He was caught selling a sachet of suspected shabu during the 9:45 p.m. operation.
Police said the suspect was informed of his rights and is now in custody at the Kawit Municipal Police Station for processing.
Charges for violating Sections 5 and 11 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165) are being prepared.
