Naic Police Investigating Shooting Incident in Cavite

NAIC, Cavite – Police are investigating a shooting that occurred around 5 p.m. on May 24, 2025 in Barangay Sabang, Naic, Cavite.

According to a report from the Naic Municipal Police Station, the victim, Shackie Denajiba y Lauriano, 48, a resident of Ciudad Nuevo, was shot by unidentified assailants while exiting his vehicle.

Initial investigation revealed that two male suspects were involved in the attack.

One suspect was described as wearing a blue jacket, gray T-shirt, denim pants, and a white cap. The assailants fled the scene on a black scooter, heading in the direction of Trece Martires.

Authorities noted that the incident is not currently being linked to the recent election process.

The case remains under thorough investigation to determine the motive and circumstances behind the shooting.

PNP officials warned the public against speculating or spreading misinformation while the probe is ongoing.
