The Kawit Municipal Police Station has ramped up its efforts against all forms of crime, with a relentless focus on preventing and eliminating criminal activities in the community.
On the evening of May 19, 2024, around 09:20 PM, the Drug Enforcement Unit and Intelligence Operatives of the station, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL Richard D Corpuz, COP, and in collaboration with PDEA-4A, carried out a successful anti-drug operation in Brgy. Magdalo-Potol, Kawit, Cavite.
This operation led to the arrest of individuals known as “Diego”, “Erap”, and “Atan”, all residents of Brgy Toclong, Kawit, Cavite, and “Sadie”, a resident of Brgy Pasong-Buaya 1, Imus City, Cavite.
The four suspects were apprehended after selling a small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet believed to contain “Shabu”.
The arrested individuals were duly informed of their constitutional rights under the Miranda Doctrine.
