Last night, a joint operation by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and local police targeted a house in Brgy. Niog I, Bacoor City, Cavite, suspected of being a drug den.
The operation resulted in the arrest of a woman believed to be the maintainer of the drug den. Additionally, eight other drug suspects, who were caught in the act of using illegal drugs, were also apprehended. The suspects were nabbed when they sold shabu to a PDEA agent posing as a buyer.
Authorities seized 9 grams of shabu, valued at P61,000, along with various drug paraphernalia.
The suspects will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
