Heatwave Prompts Widespread School Suspensions in Cavite Towns

In response to the ongoing heatwave, several towns in Cavite have declared suspensions across various levels of education. The suspensions are as follows:

  • Bacoor City: All levels, both public and private, including all face-to-face activities, from April 29 to May 04, 2024.
  • Imus City: All levels, both public and private, from April 29-30, 2024.
  • Dasmariñas City: All levels, both public and private, from April 29-30, 2024.
  • Trece Martires City: Day Care to Senior High School, both public and private, from April 29-30, 2024.
  • Naic: All levels, both public and private, from April 29-30, 2024.
  • Magallanes: All levels, both public and private, from April 29-30, 2024.
  • Mendez: All levels, both public and private, from April 29 to May 03, 2024.
  • Indang: Pre-school to Senior High School, public, from April 26 to May 10, 2024.
  • Ternate: Elementary and Secondary Levels, public, from April 08 to May 03, 2024 (Blended Learning/ Modular System).
  • General Emilio Aguinaldo: Elementary and Secondary Levels, both public and private, from April 08 to May 03, 2024 (Blended Learning Modality).
  • Cavite City: All levels, public, from April 29-30, 2024.
