Cavite City – The Cavite City MedCare Mega Health Center was inaugurated on Friday, March 22, led by Cavite 1st District Representative Ramon Jolo B. Revilla III. The ribbon-cutting and turnover ceremony were attended by Department of Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa, other health officials, Cavite City Mayor Denver Reyes-Chua, and local government staff.

The three-story health center, which began construction in 2022, is a key project initiated by Rep. Jolo Revilla and Senator Ramon Bong Revilla Jr., in partnership with Agimat Partylist. It is expected to house at least 100 hospital beds and provide essential medical services for children, the elderly, and pregnant women.

The local government of Cavite City expressed gratitude for the new facility, assuring that it will offer free, high-quality medical services to Caviteรฑos.

Rep. Revilla emphasized the importance of the new hospital in addressing the needs of his constituents and the district’s limited facilities. “What was once a dream is now a reality. We will continue to improve and enhance the services of this facility for every Caviteรฑo,” he stated.

DOH Secretary Herbosa committed to improving the quality of healthcare services in the country and supported the local government’s program aimed at elevating the living standards of Filipinos, guided by the department’s 8-point action agenda.

“The establishment of Mega Health Centers like this is a step towards strengthening universal health care. In the New Philippines, every life is precious,” Herbosa remarked during his speech.

Herbosa also promised to ensure the new facility is fully equipped. The event concluded with the blessing of the building and a new ambulance donated by Senator Bong Revilla. The Cavite City MedCare Mega Health Center is expected to open to the public next month.
