In a successful buy-bust operation on March 11, 2024, Cavite police apprehended two individuals and seized approximately 10 grams of suspected shabu in Dasmariñas City.

The operation, conducted by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Dasmariñas City Police, led to the arrest of two men, aged 21 and 24, after they sold shabu to an undercover officer.

The confiscated drugs included one sachet weighing about 0.5 grams valued at ₱3,400 and two sachets totaling 9.5 grams worth ₱64,600, along with marked buy-bust money.

The suspects are currently detained for processing and documentation, with charges being prepared for violating RA9165.

The evidence is set to be examined at the Cavite Provincial Forensic Unit. PBGEN Paul Kenneth Lucas and PCOL Eleuterio Ricardo Jr. have praised the operation’s success and urged community cooperation in the fight against crime.
