In a decisive move against criminal activities, the Kawit Municipal Police Station, under the supervision of PLTCOL Richard D. Corpuz, successfully conducted a buy-bust operation over the weekend.

The operation, which took place at Brgy. Congbalay-Legaspi, Kawit, Cavite, led to the arrest of a suspect known as “Ric” for violating Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of RA 9165.

The suspect was caught selling a sachet of suspected shabu, a prohibited substance.

The individual was promptly informed of his rights under the Miranda Doctrine and taken into custody for further processing.

The Kawit Municipal Police Station reaffirms its commitment to eradicating illegal drugs and warns against participation in such activities.
